A Unique Feature:

Mont Vallon doesn’t just offer breathtaking visual spectacles. The Gebroulaz Glacier, visible from the summit, is one of the most studied glaciers in the French Alps, closely monitored as part of international scientific programs like Glacioclim. This living testament to the forces of nature is a valuable witness to climate evolution over the centuries.

It's a perfect spot for a contemplative pause, where the silence and sheer beauty will take your breath away.

Skiing at Mont Vallon:

  • La Combe du Vallon: This is one of the most iconic red slopes in Les 3 Vallées. With a vertical drop of 1,000 meters, this trail offers challenging yet rewarding skiing, with stunning views over the Méribel valley. Thanks to its northern exposure, the snow here is often fresh, making it ideal for powder enthusiasts. The descent is a true challenge for experienced skiers, combining technical sections with long curves that demand perfect control. This run is a must for those seeking an intense skiing experience, all while being immersed in a stunning natural setting. The Combe du Vallon is also known for its excellent snow conditions, even late in the season, providing unforgettable moments with each ride.
  • Campagnol: Less known but equally impressive, this red slope offers high-altitude skiing with a unique atmosphere. Perfect for those who love speed, it provides an intense skiing experience before easing into a gentler section towards the end. The start of the run is marked by a series of tight turns that test skiers' agility and technique, followed by a sequence of fast slopes that offer a real sense of freedom. The end of the run, which is more accessible, allows for relaxation while enjoying the magnificent scenery surrounding this descent. The Campagnol is a perfect blend of thrilling emotions and alpine beauty.
