How to reach Val Thorens from Les 3 Vallées
No matter where you are in Les 3 Vallées, getting to Val Thorens is an unforgettable adventure. Here’s a detailed guide for each route:
- From Courchevel 1850:
Take the Verdons gondola, followed by the Vizelle gondola. Descend via the Niverolle piste, continue on the Aigle piste, then take the Plattières gondola. Board the Côte Brune chairlift, and descend the Pluviomètre piste and the Traversée de Montaulever piste to Val Thorens.
- From Méribel-Mottaret:
Take the Combes chairlift 1 & 2, then descend via the Martre piste. Continue with the Roc de Tougne chairlift, then ski down the Teppes piste. Board the Granges chairlift, ski down the Alouette piste, and take the Côte Brune chairlift. Finish by skiing the Pluviomètre piste and the Traversée de Montaulever piste to reach Val Thorens.
- From Méribel:
Start with the Tougnète 1 gondola, followed by the Tougnète 2 chairlift. Ski down the Gros Tougne piste, continue with the Granges chairlift, then take the Côte Brune chairlift. Descend via the Pluviomètre piste and the Traversée de Montaulever piste to reach Val Thorens.
- From Brides-les-Bains:
Take the Olympe gondola, then the Tougnète 1 gondola followed by the Tougnète 2 chairlift. Descend via the Gros Tougne piste, continue with the Granges chairlift, and take the Côte Brune chairlift. Ski down the Pluviomètre piste and the Traversée de Montaulever piste to Val Thorens.
- From Les Menuires:
Choose between two options:
Option 1: Take the Menuires chairlift, followed by the Mont de la Chambre chairlift. Ski down the Pluviomètre piste and the Traversée de Montaulever piste to Val Thorens.
Option 2: Start with the Roc 1 gondola, then descend via the Petit Creux piste and the Boyes piste. Take the Bruyères 1 & 2 gondolas, then ski down the Pluviomètre piste and the Traversée de Montaulever piste to Val Thorens
- From Saint-Martin-de-Belleville:
Take the Saint Martin 1 gondola, followed by the Saint Martin Express chairlift. Ski down the Gros Tougne piste, then take the Granges chairlift. Continue on the Allamand piste, then the Petit Creux piste, and board the Mont de la Chambre chairlift. Descend via the Pluviomètre piste and the Traversée de Montaulever piste to reach Val Thorens.
- From Orelle:
Start with the Orelle gondola, then the Orelle-Caron gondola. Descend via the Cime piste, continue on the Fond piste, and finish on the Combe de Thorens piste to reach Val Thorens.
