The 2025 Tour de France is shaping up to be grandiose, with a mythical 18th stage scheduled for July 24, 2025. Riders will set off from Vif, south of Grenoble, for an extraordinary day covering 171 km, with a staggering 5,500 meters of elevation gain. This stage is already being hailed as the most demanding of the entire edition.
Iconic climbs on the menu
- Col du Glandon (1,924 m): a legendary climb that sets the tone right from the start of the stage.
- Col de la Madeleine (2,000 m): a Tour de France classic, known for its breathtaking views and relentless gradients.
- Col de la Loze (2,304 m): the highest point of the stage, featuring a brand-new approach from the Courchevel side, never before ridden in the Tour.
