The must-haves
The Madelon day in Courchevel
On Saturday, July 26th and Sunday, July 27th, come and enjoy a festive day in Courchevel-Le Praz with the locals. You will discover and appreciate the Savoyard heritage and local culture.
On the program: local crafts, traditional and musical entertainment, games, dancing, meals, parades, concerts...
This is an essential event in Les 3 Vallées to share with young and old alike!
EVENTS IN COURCHEVEL VALLEY
PUNTA COURCHEVEL - MOTORCYCLE SHOW
Description: The must-attend event for kustom kulture enthusiasts, bringing together custom motorcycle fans and rock'n'roll lovers.
The program: Exhibitions of choppers, bobbers and clubstyle bikes, European bikeshows, live concerts on three stages, and a village with over 200 exhibitors.
Location: In Courchevel-Le Praz.
Dates: From 4 to 6 July 2025.
RED BULL 400 – THE STEEPEST RACE IN THE WORLD
Description: The most extreme 400-metre race, climbing the Olympic ski jump in Le Praz with a 36% incline and 185 metres of vertical gain.
Location: Olympic ski jump in Le Praz.
Date: 12 July 2025.
BJÖRKA X3 – HIGH ALTITUDE TRIATHLON
Description: An original and demanding triathlon combining rowing, cycling, and mountain trail running in the heart of the Alps.
The program: 6,000 metres of rowing on an ergometer, 12.2 km of cycling with 750 metres of positive elevation gain, and 9.6 km of trail running with 550 metres of positive elevation gain.
Date: 20 July 2025.
TOUR DE FRANCE – ASCENT OF THE COL DE LA LOZE
Description: The Tour de France peloton returns to conquer the legendary Col de la Loze, now an iconic summit of Alpine cycling.
The program: 28.4 km of climbing with a 6% average gradient, culminating at a breathtaking 2,304 metres above sea level.
Date: 24 July 2025.
THE MADELON – TRADITIONAL FESTIVAL IN COURCHEVEL LE PRAZ
Description: A festive weekend to relive Savoyard traditions in the heart of the village, in an old-time atmosphere.
The program: Costumed parades, traditional folk music, period dances, local specialties and activities for all ages.
Location: Village of Courchevel Le Praz.
Dates: 26 and 27 July 2025.
SKI JUMPING WORLD CUP – UNIQUE FRENCH STAGE
Description: Courchevel hosts the only French stage of the Ski Jumping World Cup, a legendary event for over 30 years.
The program: Spectacular performances by the world's top ski jumpers, aerial stunts, festive atmosphere on the Olympic site.
Location: Olympic ski jump in Le Praz.
Dates: Mid-August 2025 (exact date to be confirmed).
THE CYCLING EVENT – MTB FESTIVAL & TEST CENTER
Description: A key event for mountain biking enthusiasts, blending sport, innovation and a friendly atmosphere at high altitude.
The program: Mountain bike competitions, test center with leading brands (Specialized, Rotwild, Husqvarna, GasGas), exhibitor stands and activities.
Dates: From 15 to 17 August 2025.
ALTIFEST – MUSIC, ART & NATURE BY THE LAKE
Description: A cultural and festive festival by the lake at Le Praz, gathering artists, musicians, craftsmen and families in a natural setting.
The program: Open-air concerts, artist and artisan village, creative workshops, children's activities, and environmental awareness initiatives.
Location: Lakeside at Courchevel Le Praz.
Dates: End of August 2025 (exact date to be confirmed).
EVENTS IN MERIBEL VALLEY
GAME OVER FESTIVAL
Description: The ultimate event for fans of video games, virtual worlds and pop culture, returning for an even more immersive second edition.
The program: E-sport tournaments on a giant screen, Cosplay Summit, exhibition of the DeLorean from "Back to the Future", geek-themed animations and surprises.
Location: Olympic Park of Méribel.
Dates: 5 and 6 July 2025.
MÉRIBEL GOLF CUP
Description: A friendly competition set in an exceptional Alpine environment, where amateurs and professionals share their passion for golf.
The program: Teams composed of one professional and three amateurs for a unique format, ideal for improving skills and taking on new challenges.
- Location: Méribel Golf Course.
Dates: From 6 to 9 July 2025.
GRAN FONDO COL DE LA LOZE
Description: A demanding cyclosportive that allows cyclists of all levels to take on the legendary Col de la Loze.
The program: Four routes:
- The Ultimate: 117 km / 4,377 m D+
- Méribel : 53 km / 2,424 m D+
- Courchevel : 46 km / 2,141 m D+
- Brides : 30 km / 741 m D+
- Date: 13 July 2025.
THE SURPRENANT FESTIVAL
Description: An unusual festival blending nature, art and environment for a sensory immersion in the mountains.
The program: Night-time concerts in the forest, aerial shows, sound and poetic creations, artistic performances.
Dates: From 16 to 18 July 2025.

The Fanfoué day in Méribel
This is the traditional festival of the Allues Valley, where you can enjoy a multitude of specially organized events, including pedal carousels, chainsaw sculptures, baking bread in the village oven, Alphorn and Hunting Horn players, and much more!
It's the perfect time to share a fun and educational moment with your family and learn more about Savoyard traditions in the heart of the 3 Vallées!
ENDURO FRENCH CUP
Description: Méribel hosts a round of the national enduro mountain biking circuit, featuring races on technical and challenging trails.
The program: Two days of racing, timed special stages, technical sections and steep descents.
Dates: From 19 to 20 July 2025.
ZEN ALTITUDE
Description: Two days dedicated to well-being, to reconnect with yourself and the mountains in a peaceful setting.
The program: Outdoor yoga classes, terrace massages, creative workshops, well-being coaching, contemplative and revitalizing walks.
Dates: From 23 to 24 July 2025.
MÉRIBEL CYCLING EVENT
Description: A major cycling festival combining competitions, innovation tests and passionate encounters.
The program: Mountain bike tests, demonstrations, competitions and presentations of innovations from leading brands (Rotwild, Specialized, Husqvarna…).
Dates: From 15 to 17 August 2025.
NEW : FISE DISTRICT
Description: First edition of the FISE District in Méribel, to experience the excitement of extreme sports in the heart of the mountains.
The program: BMX freestyle shows and initiations, professional rider demonstrations, and a spectacular atmosphere.
Dates: From 29 to 31 July 2025.
ASTRONOMY FESTIVAL
Description: A magical event to observe the stars and dive into the fascinating world of the cosmos in the heart of the mountains.
The program: Astronomy workshops, star observation, educational activities for children and adults.
Dates: 7 and 8 August 2025.
MÉRIBEL TRAIL
Description: A wild and technical trail running challenge at the gateway to the Vanoise National Park, along spectacular mountain paths.
The program: Race formats from 2 km to 42 km (maratrail), crossing the Tuéda Nature Reserve, with passages at nearly 2800 metres of altitude.
Dates: From 9 to 10 August 2025.
FESTIVAL DE CIRQUE DE RUE DU SOL AU CIEL
Description: Three days of poetic and captivating shows as street circus performances take over the entire resort.
The program: Circus initiations and demonstrations, shows for children and adults, festive animations.
Dates : Du 11 au 13 août 2025.
GOLF PRO-AM
Description: A prestigious and friendly tournament, bringing together amateur and professional golfers in an exceptional Alpine setting.
The program: Team tournament, five days of competition, and moments of sharing around a common passion for golf.
Dates: From 18 to 22 August 2025.
ENDURO 2
Description: A three-day enduro race for mountain bikes and e-MTBs, combining performance and pleasure in a duo format.
The program: Over 10,000 metres of negative elevation, 15 timed special stages, and concerts at Jack's to liven up the evenings.
Dates: From 23 to 25 August 2025.
EVENTS IN BRIDES-LES-BAINS
LÂCHE TA BRIDES
Description: A festive and friendly event to celebrate the Fête de la Musique in a warm atmosphere in the heart of Brides-les-Bains.
The program: Open-air concerts, open music stages, gourmet food from food trucks, and family-friendly activities.
Dates: From 20 to 21 June 2025.
GRAN FONDO COL DE LA LOZE 2025 - CYCLOSPORTIVE
Description: Get ready for the next Tour de France by taking on the challenge of the famous Col de la Loze, the new giant of the Alps offering a truly unique cycling experience. Come push your limits and enjoy an extraordinary sporting adventure.
The program: Several routes accessible to different levels: 117 km from Brides-les-Bains for the most experienced, or shorter routes depending on fitness and desire.
Date: 13 July 2025.
The must-haves
August 15th celebration in Saint-Martin-de-Belleville
Come and discover the largest traditional pilgrimage in Savoie, which culminates with the arrival at the foot of the oratory of Notre-Dame-de-la-Vie followed by a mass in the chapel.
This must-see event will immerse you in local history and traditions, for a cultural experience rich in emotions.
Come and participate in the festive afternoon in the village of Saint-Martin, where numerous entertainment, shows and concerts await you.
To make the pleasure last, a convivial evening with concert, meal and bar will be organized, accompanied by a magnificent fireworks display to finish in style.
EVENTS IN BELLEVILLE VALLEY
CLIMB TO THE MOUNTAIN PASTURES OF PÉPÉ NICOLAS
Description: The start of the summer season is marked by this ancestral ritual that launches the festivities.
The program: The departure from Saint-Martin-de-Belleville signals the beginning of the transhumance, during which herds of cows and goats pass through the villages of the Vallée des Belleville to reach the alpage of Chez Pépé Nicolas. Upon arrival, a friendly lunch and various activities await at the farm of Chez Pépé Nicolas.
Location: Departure from Saint-Martin-de-Belleville to the alpage Chez Pépé Nicolas.
Date: 21 June 2025.
SOAPBOX RACE IN THE VALLEY
Description: The Sports Clubs of Val Thorens and Les Menuires have organized a championship featuring three soapbox races.
The program: 3 dates, 3 locations, 3 races, an individual race ranking and an overall championship ranking!
New this year: before each adult race, a special event just for children will be organized!
Dates: 21 June in Saint-Martin-de-Belleville, 14 July in Les Menuires, and 6 August in Val Thorens.
Rates: €20 per race or €50 for all 3 races.
FSGT NATIONAL CYCLING CHAMPIONSHIPS
Description: A major national event for amateur cyclists, featuring demanding routes in the heart of Savoie.
The program: Time trial from Saint-Jean-de-Belleville, finish line at Les Menuires, races for all categories.
Dates: From 4 to 6 July 2025.
FREESTYLE TOUR – COMME SUR DES ROULETTES
Description: Les Menuires goes into full ride mode with two days of urban freestyle at the mountain!
The program: Competitions in skateboarding, roller skating and scootering on brand new skatepark and pump track facilities, pro shows and entertainment.
Dates: Early July 2025.
MONTÉE DES BELLEVILLE – THE SUMMER CYCLING CHALLENGE
Description: Climb one of the longest paved mountain passes in Europe: 33 km and 2,000 metres of elevation gain to reach Val Thorens at 2,365 metres above sea level.
The program: Departure from Saint-Jean-de-Belleville, a mythical ascent, and a triumphant finish at Val Thorens.
Date: 14 July 2025.
CHALLENGE VTT ENDURO KID DES BELLEVILLE
Description: A competition designed to introduce young riders to enduro biking, combining sport, technique and fun.
The program: 4 special stages tailored for children aged 9 to 14, at various spots throughout the valley.
Date: 20 July 2025.
10ᵉ FESTIVAL OF CRAFT BEER
Description: A festive and gourmet weekend celebrating craft beer in the warm atmosphere of Saint-Martin.
The program: DJ set by Laurent Wolf, best beer competition, workshops, live brewing demonstrations, tastings and meetings with local brewers.
Location: Saint-Martin-de-Belleville.
Dates: 25 and 26 July 2025.
10TH EDITION OF THE VAL THO SUMMIT GAMES IN VAL THORENS
Description: With five sporting experiences accessible to all, to be shared with family or friends, the Val Tho Summit Games are the perfect complement to your trail running calendar and the ideal opportunity to accomplish your personal challenge if you’re looking to get started.
Program & Dates:
- Friday 8 August: VT Crazy Cross, an obstacle race,
- Saturday 9 August: VT Speed 3200, a vertical kilometre finishing at the Cime Caron,
- Sunday 10 August: VT Trail Pursuit (10 km, 20 km, 42 km UTMB qualifying race); VT Trail Kids, a trail race for 11-16 year olds; VT Family Fun Walk, a 6 km family hike with 12 activity stops.
